Fr. Luc Poirier, FSSP
Fr. Luc Poirier is a Canadian priest, born into a large Catholic family and raised near Moncton, NB. His priestly vocation was solidified upon his discovery of the Traditional Latin Mass at the age of 19. Since then, it has been his raison d’être. His love for the Traditional Latin Mass, and, all that flows from it, was always anchored in his love and fidelity to the Church.
The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter, is a Society of Apostolic Life founded by Pope Saint John-Paul II in 1988. The priests of the FSSP dedicate themselves to the Traditional Latin Mass and all that flows from this, which entails an attachment to liturgical and disciplinary traditions of the Church, a deeply Thomistic formation, and a devotion the Roman Catholic Church and the Pope.
He continues his priestly ministry in Montreal, where he has been stationed as the assistant-priest since his ordination in 2019, after seven years of formation at Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary in Denton, Nebraska. There, he faithfully serves his parish and all those who are seeking to integrate God into their lives.
